Jeremiah 17:7-8
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Those who trust in the Lord will have abundant strength, not only for their own needs, but even for the needs of others. While those who trust in their own strength, or to other people in times of trouble will be impoverished and spiritually weak, they will have no strength to draw on.
So to whom will you put your trust and hope? As for me I will put my trust and hope in the Lord at all times.
